Στον σχεδιασμό αναβάθμισης των δημοτικών χώρων στάθμευσης, στην αισθητική και ασφάλεια των υποδομών που καθημερινά χρησιμοποιούν κάτοικοι και επισκέπτες εντάσσονται οι εργασίες κατασκευής εποξειδικού δαπέδου και εσωτερικής διαγράμμισης με εποξειδική βαφή, στο β’ υπόγειο του δημοτικού πάρκινγκ P2, στην πλατεία Δημαρχείου.
The interventions by the municipal parking company "POLIS S.A.", ολοκληρώθηκαν μέσα σε διάστημα 20 ημερών, βελτιώνοντας αισθητικά και λειτουργικά τον χώρο. Τη σημασία των εργασιών αυτών για την εξυπηρέτηση πολιτών και επισκεπτών, επισήμαναν κατά τη διάρκεια της αυτοψίας που πραγματοποίησαν, ο Δήμαρχος Κατερίνης, Ιωάννης Ντούμος και ο Πρόεδρος του Δ.Σ. της «ΠΟΛΙΣ Α.Ε.», Γιώργος Μπαλαούρας.

Significant improvement in the image of parking facilities
On his part, Mr. Balaouras noted that this is the first phase of an extensive improvement program: "The specific works at P2 constitute the starting point of a broader effort. Epoxy floors exhibit exceptional durability, facilitate cleaning, require no maintenance, and significantly improve the image of parking facilities. Our goal is, gradually, to implement similar interventions in all underground municipal parking spaces."
Project Specifications
Prior to the application of the specialized epoxy material, which ensures high durability, anti-slip properties, and ease of maintenance, the necessary technical preparations (cleaning, priming, etc.) were implemented. The new markings, also of epoxy composition, have an estimated durability of up to 10 years.
